This is the 7th in a series of folding robots to prepare for 4D printing. It was inspired by a robot called "Bender" that appeared in the animation "Futurama (1999-2013)".
The body of the robot is narrowed downward, so a new proportion is applied.

This is the kind of "3D Fan art". Many of my imaginations have been added. It is difficult to see the original shape before folding it.
This robot's arms and legs are elongated and structurally reinforced to prevent them from falling due to the vibration of the 3D printer during printing. Nevertheless, please understand that the length of the legs is slightly shortened because the legs are so large that they are likely to fall during the print.
It is very difficult to create hand-drawn animated characters in 3D. So, to express the feeling, I interpreted it subjectively and designed it.
The chest has a door that can be opened and closed so that you can put various things in it.
Designed for easy folding of complex structures, this product has been designed to meet the needs of popular 4D printing in the future.
It will revolutionize 3D printing as a totally new structure robot that does not need to be supported nor assembled, just fold.
This design does not require assembly, but the head, arms, and legs can rotate at various angles, so you can play with a variety of things.
Especially, the arm has a double structure so that it can rotate in two directions, so you can take many poses. In addition, the legs are made to protrude to the front and back, and the angle is precisely adjusted so that it does not fall over.
The folded part is made concave so that anyone can fold it easily.

I get the reason for the logo, and fair enough, I bought the file based off the main picture that didn't show the logo. The discription did mention it so I won't be asking for a Refund, but damn, I was excited to find a site with high quality files for a fair price. I was planning on getting most if not all of the vechical files over time. If I have to sand off and fill a logo, then I have to paint, and at that point, there is no point. If you do end up finding a way to protect your files without ruining them, let me know and I will be back to spend my money!

Currently, the models we provide are manufactured by putting the logo in the invisible part as much as possible

I have been printing these non stop on a Prusa Mini in Silver Silk PLA. Some tips for this machine: I was overheating the head antenna, so I made a 10mm cylinder, 66mm tall in the opposite corner of the print bed to allow for cooling. I also limited the speed for small radii to 20mm/s. I had bad luck with the joints printing above 0.1mm layer height. I used 0.42mm extrusion width and increased the perimeters to 3 to improve the strength of the arms and legs during the initial movement. With Silk I find I have to use at least 220C for the 2nd layer and above to get good layer bonding. Happy printing!

What material must this be printed in? PETG? ABS? PLA?
I tested various brand's PLA.
But I didn't tested with ABS or PETG.
Is there a version without the external logo please? if so cannot find it. Great model otherwise though. Thanks.
All designs have logo. Even guest designer's work.
We strongly recommend make logo outside and inside to all designers.

Thanks for this awesome model.
Unfortunately I haven't succeeded in completely printing it, always an arm toppled / broke off.
Reason being that my printer can't handle the overhang at the hands.
I would like to suggest to reduce the shoulder part of the arms somewhat, to position them more vertical on the print plate and thereby reducing the overhang.
Bender could also lift his arms higher. Yay!
Much has been said about the logo - which I understand.
But could you maybe provide a model without the two pins on the back?
Image 1: the "hair" is due to the toppled arm. I shortened the partial arm a bit, reprinted the lower arm and hand and glued them together.
Image 2: with freshly glued arm. The painted one I stopped the print at upper eye level as lots of stuff tumbled. Reprinted a bit too much of the rest and glued it on top. I like that it looks a bit like a cap ^^
Your print is very good. but stable print for arms, you have to care for strong adhesions on bed. You and use glue stick or supplies for bed adhesions. Or raft will be helpful for strong adhesions for arms.

Hello, what is meant with the setting "Layer Height : 0.1mm, 0.2mm"?
Does this mean variable layer height? I don't use Simplfy3D and am rather new to print setting.

That means you can choose layer height.
If you want high quality, choose 0.1mm layer height.
If you want lower quality but quick print, choose 0.2mm layer height.

The model is real quality, cudos on that. However I dislike the logo on the back, it's just simply too much. I wanted to print a Foldable Robot-BD aka "Bender" and paint it without the fab logo. You've already have the logo inside the model(I like that approach, you deserve that place).
I understand the problem with bad people uploading your hard work on various sites, but you could share at least the Gcode for a "non-branded" model (I mean just for the outside).
In case you'd willing to do that, please let me know. I'm very much willing to cooperate to get this model available for the customers, without the back logo, on a prusa i3 mk3/s(my printer) in Gcode.
My fault, i don't read the comments, and not see fab 365 watermark on back side the modell. If i see, i dont buy.
