It is the tenth series of folding robots to prepare for 4D printing. This robot was inspired by a tin toy.
I refer more to the picture drawn on the toy box rather than the appearance of the tin toy, and I reborn it. A major feature of this folding robot design is the hoses that go back and forth, and the three dial gauges that rotate around the chest.
In the tin toy, the hose which can not be expressed in three dimensions and processed by painting is implemented with unique combination structure. The structure that connects these hoses is also more robust than other folding robots.
Until now, the folding robot's chest dial has been designed so that it can rotate up to two. This time, we designed three of them to rotate together. In order to realize this, I made a lot of test print.

Thank you! We used PLA. PLA is very suitable for 3D printing due to its low toxicity and low shrinkage.
