GOODesign
GOODesign is a design studio established in Seoul, Korea by a representative who has been active in product design and 3D CG field for 20 years. As a design company that pursues a reasonable and differentiated digital design, it has always presented a new direction through working with clients such as Hyundai Motor, Siemens Korea and beiersdorf. This time, we have put out the life product for 3D printing by utilizing various technique design based on the shape of the Class-A surface. These products are especially the result of deep research on the 3D printing dominant shape that can not be mass-produced using a mold.
The beluga whale is loved by people because of its unique appearance and affinity. This lovely whale was made by applying 3D printing foldable method.
It looks similar to a foldable shark, but due to the nature of the Beluga dolphins, we have designed a completely new structure.
First, the shark moves sideways, but beluga whale move up and down. A new structure for this movement was designed and applied.
Second, the shark used the dorsal fin of the body attachment, but the beluga whale did not have a dorsal fin, so we designed a new body attachment part.
The third added detail that was not on the face for a cute and lovely look.
Please refer to the link video for how to fold.

Is one raft layer okay?
I recommend 3 layers for raft.
Thanks
I would love to know what program you use to turn these prints into movable figures!
I use Rhino 3D for design foldable.
Thanks
I will be slicing this in Cura 4.0. Any settings that I need to adjust before I slice it, or should I use the settings you posted?
I do not use Cura frequently, but sometimes I choose Fine and print it when I use it.
