GOODesign is a design studio established in Seoul, Korea by a representative who has been active in product design and 3D CG field for 20 years. As a design company that pursues a reasonable and differentiated digital design, it has always presented a new direction through working with clients such as Hyundai Motor, Siemens Korea and beiersdorf. This time, we have put out the life product for 3D printing by utilizing various technique design based on the shape of the Class-A surface. These products are especially the result of deep research on the 3D printing dominant shape that can not be mass-produced using a mold.
This is the first time I have tried to design a plane by folding it. Since it was the first folding plane challenge, I chose to look a bit easier. That is the space shuttle. The wing or body of this space shuttle is relatively easy to construct a structure inside. But in the end it wasn't that easy.
How to fold is as follows.
1. Fit the middle frame to the body.
2. Insert the left and right body on the opposite side to complete the body of space shuttle.
3. Put the front part of the space shuttle on the body.
4. Fit the rear part, with tail wings and nozzle.
5. Pull out the lid of the hangar of the body and close it.
6. Close the remaining lids in the same way to complete.
7. Cover the three landing gear covers in each position and you are done.
Additional parts, such as propulsion rockets and satellites to enter the hangar, will soon be produced. Please look forward to it~

Any chance you can generate this STL so that it can be separated into parts for multicolor printing?Mainly if I could get the windows, the RCS thrusters, the engines, and the thermal protection tiles on the bottom as separate parts in prusaslicer, then it could come out amazingly well. I'd pay more for a model like that, at least 3x as much.
This is my first purchase with you and I love it. I followed the instructions and it worked the first time on my Ender 3, took about 17 hours.
Only thing that did not fit was the cover for the front landing gear, seems that it was a bit too on the small side, but maybe was my print.. will try to print that part once more :)
Look forward to the add-ons for this piece.
I just printed this for my grandson and it is spectacular! I can't believe the genius level design in this toy. Sure excited about your creation of the launch vehicle to go with it. I had great results even with a .5mm nozzle and .25mm layer height!
I am very happy that your grandson liked my design very much.
Please look forward to the design to be added.
Thank you~
Are there any add-ons planned? If so, I would like to see the landing gear extended option.
We have plans for add on. And thinking about landing gears too.
Please look forward to it.
Love the model, looking forward to the addition for this shuttle
Thank you~
We will make some add on parts. Please look forward to it.
