GOODesign is a design studio established in Seoul, Korea by a representative who has been active in product design and 3D CG field for 20 years. As a design company that pursues a reasonable and differentiated digital design, it has always presented a new direction through working with clients such as Hyundai Motor, Siemens Korea and beiersdorf. This time, we have put out the life product for 3D printing by utilizing various technique design based on the shape of the Class-A surface. These products are especially the result of deep research on the 3D printing dominant shape that can not be mass-produced using a mold.

With the request and high vote from FAB365.net's request page, I designed this foldable Willis Jeep.
Willis MB Jeep request
Through this folding Willis MB Jeep, I made my first convertible car. The convertible car requires a lot of work as it is necessary to make a chair and interior, and there is little space to put the structure. In this work, I found it very difficult to make a convertible car by folding it.
This time, I inevitably adopted a way to separate the wheels. And some parts were printed and attached separately. The hood can be opened and closed, and the windshield can be rotated forward. The wheels also roll very well.

The folding process is as follows.
1. Rotate the front part of the jeep and turn it over.
2. Connect the lower body to the upper body.
3. Close the hood and move the windshield forward and tilt it back.
4. Press and fit each of the four wheels.
5. Put the fuel tank base on the back and put the fuel tank on top.
6. Attach the spare tire to the rear of the vehicle.
7. Cut the filament to a length of 18mm, fit it on the steering wheel, and apply adhesive to the front hole of the driver's seat.

Please change the filament length from 1.8mm to 18mm. 1.8mm is clearly wrong. other than that great model!

    Hi,
I printed the car. It's a very nice design but...
    I have a few notes:
    - the axle of the steering wheel is missing from the downloaded package
    - I tried to clip the 4 wheels in place and all the clamps-supports of the wheels on the main body broke on layer lines. They are printed vertically and this is the worst position for their resistance when trying to be clipped. The wheels should be printed in a rather rubbery material otherwise there's small chance to be able to clip them on the main body without breaking the supports.

You can cut and use filament for the axle of the steering wheel.
You can see how use filament for the axle of the steering wheel.
And I wrote about the axle of steering wheel on information at number 8. Please check
Some PLA filaments are very hard and brittle. Or PLA filament that has not been used for a very long time will also break easily. Try changing the filament. I have experimented with various 3D printers and filaments, and they have never broken.
Please refer to the videos or print-tips for more details.

    Few Questions before printing:
    1. Can I use 0.2 layer height?
    2. Are supports necessary?
    3. First layer speed?
    4. Print Speed?

    5. Your instructions say, "Rotate the front part of the jeep and turn it over." Which direction do I have to rotate the front part?
(I am scared, dont wanna break it after a long print)

(Ender 3 and Cura 4.6.1) And I have already purchased the design.

I didn't prepare settings for that printer. If your 'Geeetech A10T' 3D printer condition is OK, printing result will be OK. Bigger is better.
If you worry about quality, please check slice settings at other design's settings at information text below.
