GOODesign is a design studio established in Seoul, Korea by a representative who has been active in product design and 3D CG field for 20 years. As a design company that pursues a reasonable and differentiated digital design, it has always presented a new direction through working with clients such as Hyundai Motor, Siemens Korea and beiersdorf. This time, we have put out the life product for 3D printing by utilizing various technique design based on the shape of the Class-A surface. These products are especially the result of deep research on the 3D printing dominant shape that can not be mass-produced using a mold.
Designing objects that appear in hand-drawn animation requires a lot of creativity. This is because hand-drawn representations are not accurate. And a lot of people like to be creative. The previously designed Mystery machine has also been well received by 3D printer users. So, as my next project, I designed a bikini bottom bus that appears in SpongeBob SquarePants.
The printing and assembly process is very simple, but there are a few caveats.
1. If parts such as window frames or headlights are loose, attach them with adhesive.
2. When connecting the lower body and upper body, check the protrusions and holes and connect them properly. There is a risk of breaking the protrusions if they are connected in a state where they are not properly positioned.
3. The side door is stiff and may not open well. But if you open and close and repeat a few times, the side door will work just fine.

Summer is coming soon. The background of the animation in which this bus appears is in the sea. Feel the cool sea where SpongeBob and his friends live on this bus.
