GOODesign
GOODesign is a design studio established in Seoul, Korea by a representative who has been active in product design and 3D CG field for 20 years. As a design company that pursues a reasonable and differentiated digital design, it has always presented a new direction through working with clients such as Hyundai Motor, Siemens Korea and beiersdorf. This time, we have put out the life product for 3D printing by utilizing various technique design based on the shape of the Class-A surface. These products are especially the result of deep research on the 3D printing dominant shape that can not be mass-produced using a mold.
Fab365.net is constantly growing. With challenging and diverse attempts, 3D printing design technology is growing and improving day by day. This is thanks to our customers, and in order to reward them, we are always trying to make what they have requested from our customers.
So this time, I designed the Star Wars X-wing, which has been the number one request for a long time.
I'm obsessed with dividing color parts these days. This is because it brings out the charm of 3D printing by combining the colors of the filament well. There are a few parts, but I hope you can feel the charm of the filament color combination through this design.
Things to note when assembling are as follows.
1. When connecting the upper and lower parts of the fuselage, there are parts that are inserted on the left and right. When connecting the fuselage parts, be careful to connect the fuselage while pressing these parts strongly left and right.
2. It is good to use adhesive to attach color parts, but it can be confusing, so please check the location carefully before using adhesive.
3. The laser gun at the tip of the wing is connected by sliding it. However, you have to push it all the way to the end to insert it, so please check it carefully.
4. Before assembling the wing and fuselage, it is recommended to glue the deflector shield projector of the wing first.
Please check the video for more details.

I have printed a few of these now but I can't find the perfect color filament. What is the brand/color used in the photos?
I love this model. I printed one at 100% and one at 150%. It looks great, my only issue is the wings are very loose and don't stay open. Any suggestions?
Is it normal that there are supports that are included in the STL? As for the STL of the wings and that of the fuselage? The parts circled in the photos.
Amazing . Thanks !!!!
Sono veramente felice di aver stampato questo bellissimo modello, non ho incontrato nessun problema
grazie ancora--------------
I am trying to finish this print but I am having issues with the fit of the fuselage. I am able to get everything put together properly but when I go to slide the back and front together it will not slide all the way so the parts do not come together fully. I have tuned my printer to be very accurate with dimensions and layer height. Everything breaks away and folds like it is supposed to. I have printed it at 100% and 125% and no matter what I do I cannot get the front and back to come together flush. There is always a gap.
Excellent model, very fun to print with no supports.
Printed on Ender 3 v2, using PLA. Normal size.
Recommended settings. Basically 8 top, 6 bottom, 2 wall, 0.2 layer height and my temp was 185 celcious. Heated bed at 60 celciuos.
Thanks for another magnificent model.
Love it!
Having a hard time keeping the wings down on the plate. Tried raft, tried brim 2x. Up scaled it to 150% and no go. On Ender 3 V2. As it gets higher, it becomes unstable. Maybe gets knocked loose... Any suggestions? Running recommended settings.
I love this model, but I can't get the wings to fold flat - they close about half way and stop.
Everything was perfect! Thank you so much and greetings from Argentina!
