GOODesign is a design studio established in Seoul, Korea by a representative who has been active in product design and 3D CG field for 20 years. As a design company that pursues a reasonable and differentiated digital design, it has always presented a new direction through working with clients such as Hyundai Motor, Siemens Korea and beiersdorf. This time, we have put out the life product for 3D printing by utilizing various technique design based on the shape of the Class-A surface. These products are especially the result of deep research on the 3D printing dominant shape that can not be mass-produced using a mold.
This Starship Crew model was designed by referring to the images provided by SpaceX and the prototype currently being built.
A great feature of this design is the maximum expression of the cabin where the crew stays. For this, we have consulted a lot of various materials. This may be different later on.
The window at the top is designed to give you two choices.
1) One is that the window and frame are printed together, and it is completed by painting the window frame.
2) Another method is to print the thin window frame separately and attach it to the window. If the surface of the window and spacecraft body is rough or irregular, it may not stick well, so please check each surface carefully before applying the adhesive.
The lower windows have different lengths, so please check each length in order before inserting.
The upper body is designed with a detachable upper body for viewing the inside of the crew compartment.
Please see the video for details.

Hello! Great model. Would you recommend using plain black or silk black for a more realistic look? Thank you.
Hello are you going to make ship 20 I would love a 420 heavy booster ship 20 combo
Can this model be scaled down, and if so, how much?
Btw, great work as always!
I do not recommend reducing the scale.
In particular, there is a high probability that the frame of the window will not be printed.
I noticed your space shuttle design is a 1:180 scale model. Is this created to the same scale proportions?
This scale is 1:144
Hi there, will this still work as intended if it is all scaled up to maximum print bed size?
Thank you.
Tom
Sure!
Scale up is OK.
Bigger print is better.
