GOODesign is a design studio established in Seoul, Korea by a representative who has been active in product design and 3D CG field for 20 years. As a design company that pursues a reasonable and differentiated digital design, it has always presented a new direction through working with clients such as Hyundai Motor, Siemens Korea and beiersdorf. This time, we have put out the life product for 3D printing by utilizing various technique design based on the shape of the Class-A surface. These products are especially the result of deep research on the 3D printing dominant shape that can not be mass-produced using a mold.
These days, snakes and dragons with Flexi or Print-in-place structures are very popular. So I was inspired to design a dragon used in the traditional Chinese dragon mask dance.
I designed pedestals of various heights to represent the traditional Chinese dragon mask dance. Just print as many pedestals as you need and use them as you need them.
The pedestal's stick is upright, and when inserted into the recess, it is firmly in place.
By inserting this into the hole made under the dragon's body and standing it, you can reproduce the appearance of the traditional Chinese dragon mask dance.
The dragon's lower jaw can be moved, so you can express the dragon dance well.
How to build and enjoy after printing ➪
It is recommended to print on a 3D printer with a bed size of 200 mm X 200 mm or larger. It is possible to print a little smaller, but there is a possibility that the internal structure will stick.
Please enjoy~
Largest part in printing, size = X 190mm, Y 164mm, Z 32mm, After unfold size= X 488mm, Y 44mm, Z 32mm
