GOODesign is a design studio established in Seoul, Korea by a representative who has been active in product design and 3D CG field for 20 years. As a design company that pursues a reasonable and differentiated digital design, it has always presented a new direction through working with clients such as Hyundai Motor, Siemens Korea and beiersdorf. This time, we have put out the life product for 3D printing by utilizing various technique design based on the shape of the Class-A surface. These products are especially the result of deep research on the 3D printing dominant shape that can not be mass-produced using a mold.
I've finally built the mini cooper you've been wanting the Fab365 to make for a long time.
The Mini Cooper is a car that has many fans. However, it was not easy to express because it was such a small car, so I put it on hold and finally made it. It is the smallest car Fab365 has ever designed.
Since the mini cooper is a small car, it was difficult to express the opening and closing parts, but the hood was designed so that it could only be opened and closed.
The mini cooper is as versatile as it is popular. A sequel will be possible if you have a lot of support (downloads, making reviews, sharing on social media, etc.).
The mini cooper is small, so depending on the condition of your 3D printer, small parts may be printed lacking expression. Therefore, I recommend printing as large as possible.
※ Precautions
When you fold the body and press the roof to fit it, you have to press it with great force until you hear a 'click' sound.

Were the tires made from the same type of filament or was TPU used?
I'm getting ready to attempt to print this on a QIDI Tech X-Max 3...
I'll post my results once it's finished.
What colour/brand is the main body please
Colorfabb Sky blue.
Colorfabb filament is very expensive. 😅
Can you tell me how to get rid of the circles on the roof of the Mini car? I printed one a month or so ago and the roof was perfect, very smooth, no lines at all. Now I try again and all I get are circles. I see circles in your photos also but my first attempt was perfect.
I have included a photo of the latest print but the detail of the circles may not show up well.
Thanks...Rob
You cant - the circles are the layer lines from using a FDM 3D Printer, as it prints 1 layer at a time. The roof has a curved top profile, so you have no choice but to have the circles, unless you print it with a resin printer or other technology printer which doesn't print layer by layer.
Your first attempt was a different colour by chance? Take a photo of that one, I would be interested to see.
going to try and do the roof standing on one end it will need supports but may be worth it
Printing this currently on my new Bambu Labs X1C.
Total time will be 4h 30 minutes for 100% model, at 0.12mm layer height. This printer is fast.
This model is amazing! The details are just nuts - the tread on the tyres even!
Amazing stuff
We look forward to your print and review~
Thanks~
200% scale. Printed on MK3S with Mosaic Palette 2S. Edited in Fusion 360 to add the British flag and the stripes on the hood.
Potrei chiederti come hai fatto ad aggiungere la bandiera? sono un principiante nel settore..grazie
Wow!!!
You are master of Mosaic Palette!!!
Awesome print and thank you~
Nice, thanks. Could you also make a MKII, in reality you could just make this version without the door hinges, and it would be close enough.
I agree but a leyland 1275 version would be even cooler
