GOODesign is a design studio established in Seoul, Korea by a representative who has been active in product design and 3D CG field for 20 years. As a design company that pursues a reasonable and differentiated digital design, it has always presented a new direction through working with clients such as Hyundai Motor, Siemens Korea and beiersdorf.   This time, we have put out the life product for 3D printing by utilizing various technique design based on the shape of the Class-A surface. These products are especially the result of deep research on the 3D printing dominant shape that can not be mass-produced using a mold.

This design is a Christmas decoration light.
I designed it with the idea that it would be nice to put LED lights in the Christmas decorations.
In particular, I thought that if I expressed the starlight that led the Magi to the birthplace of Esu, I could express the meaning of Christmas better, so I made a hole in the shape of a star and designed it so that the LED lights flowed through it.
By adopting the foldable method that was used previously, it was designed so that the decoration can be easily opened and used by inserting an LED tea light candle.
The very challenging thing about this design is that we redesigned the dividing structure diagonally. Splitting it vertically isn't too much of a problem for Christmas decorations, but I thought that dividing it diagonally would be much more original and beautiful.
The design process was very difficult, but the result of this design is amazing!
The diagonally divided design looks like a whirlwind of stars, making it even more beautiful.
