GOODesign
GOODesign is a design studio established in Seoul, Korea by a representative who has been active in product design and 3D CG field for 20 years. As a design company that pursues a reasonable and differentiated digital design, it has always presented a new direction through working with clients such as Hyundai Motor, Siemens Korea and beiersdorf. This time, we have put out the life product for 3D printing by utilizing various technique design based on the shape of the Class-A surface. These products are especially the result of deep research on the 3D printing dominant shape that can not be mass-produced using a mold.
What I designed this time is a Cecropia moth caterpillar that is easy to print and easy to play with or tease.
The detailed characteristics of the moth caterpillar are well expressed to make it look very creepy.
There is nothing to assemble, and after printing, only the legs need to be rotated downward and fixed.
If the legs are not well secured, you can fix them by gluing them together.
Print with rainbow silky filament to look more like a moth caterpillar.
I hope you enjoy the fun of 3D printing!

Printed on Sovol SV06, Sliced in PrusaSlicer with 0.15 QUALITY settings from Sovol with a bit of retraction for Octolapse https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olI5RRYIK2I
Unfortunately it broke in the middle because of overly aggressive bed adhesion. Have G10 boards on order and will try again with one of those.
Here they are printed in four colors on my Bambu X1C
It's very cute.
Did you print using multi-color system?
Printed quickly on my Bambu X1C! I've made a few for my gardening class.
I've colored it and am printing that one now.
Here's the first monochrome batch:
Cool model! Printed in under 2 hours on the Bambu Labs X1-C.
Thanks for you comment!
