GOODesign
GOODesign is a design studio established in Seoul, Korea by a representative who has been active in product design and 3D CG field for 20 years. As a design company that pursues a reasonable and differentiated digital design, it has always presented a new direction through working with clients such as Hyundai Motor, Siemens Korea and beiersdorf. This time, we have put out the life product for 3D printing by utilizing various technique design based on the shape of the Class-A surface. These products are especially the result of deep research on the 3D printing dominant shape that can not be mass-produced using a mold.
※ notice ※
This is a display model, not a toy to play with.
Compared to other designs, printing and assembly can be a bit difficult, so please read the video and explanation.
Taking courage from the popularity of the F-22 Raptor, we finally designed the F-35 requested by so many customers.
This F-35 was a real challenge.
First, it was relatively small in size. Therefore, the space to design the movable part was limited, so it was very difficult.
The second one is very organic and ever-changing in form. So just creating the exterior took a lot of time.
The third had many new details. For example, split lines are not hollow, but rather protruding, and zigzag lines are smaller and more complex. It took a lot of trial and error to get these details to look good.
Despite these difficult conditions, I was able to express and complete almost all the features of this airplane.
However, it may not be easy to print and create for that reason. So, be sure to check the following precautions.
※ Precautions
1. After printing the weapon bay, you need to remove the custom support. After removing it, please refine the surface before assembling it.
2. It is very difficult to connect the cover of the weapon bay. To assemble it more easily, the order is to connect the cover of the weapon bay to the connector first.
3. When connecting the weapon bay to the connector, if you bend the cover with your hand, the gap will widen, making it easier to connect the connector.
4. When connecting the flaps of the main wing, rotate the hinge and insert it into the main wing.
Other than that, please refer to the video for more details.

If the F-35A gets a lot of support, I will also design the F-35B, so please give me a lot of interest and purchase.

The tiny hinges on the weapons bay fall off very easily and don't snap in well and hold on the bay door. What could be the cause of this? Does it have to do with printing it at .15 instead of .1?
I absolutely LOVE your meticulous work on this model. Definitely in awe with how much time you spent on making this look amazing. I hope one day you create the B2 Spirit. I saw you were developing the F-35B, and I can't wait for that either!!! You deserve all your success and more!
Loving the new F-35A model, but before I buy it, I notice you haven't made an armament set for it yet, but will the armament from the F-18 and A-10 fit in the weapons bays?
~Thx~
You added a great set of photos for this model.
Is it possible to get copies of them. The more reference photos I have the better.
Others would probably find them useful too !
Thank you !
Hey - I am interested on this model but where I can find the stand display for this model?
Hi Jhauw,
The stand is included in the model.
Thank you
Awesome!! I'll get that today :)
Anyone else getting empty layers between 103.9 and 104.2 using Prusaslicer?
Yes, but it doesn't affect anything. Same in Bambu studio. It prints fine.
"Other than that, please refer to the video for more details."
Where's the video?

Please enjoy~
Thanks
So glad to see the F-35. Bought the F-35A as soon as I saw it!
You are thinking of creating the F-35B. I would love to get that. The SVTOL engine is one of the features of the 35B I love the most.
Please do create a model of this 5th generation jet fighter !!!
Customers' response was good, so I decided to make the F-35B.
But there are more things to describe than the F-35A, so I think it will be another big challenge.
Thank you~
I'm so glad to hear that their's a great response to the F-35A!
Even happier to know you are working on the F-35B!!!
I know it's going to be complex to design the model. There's a lot of moving parts to the SVTOL.
Don't know if it's going to be possible to make the back rotating jet and the rotating side thrusters but if you can that would be awesome!
Something that may be of some help is a YouTube channel called "HalfScreen 3D"
They did a wonderful 3D animated look at the internal structure and workings of the F-35B Lightning II Fighter Jet:
https://youtu.be/aCyva_zf7xQ
The whole channel has a lot of really great 3D animation with comprehensive cut-away looks inside all sorts of Sci-fi and real ships. The narration explains everything shown in the video.
You probably already know of the channel but if not maybe it will be another piece of reference material!
I hope it helps! Looking forward to the announcement of the F-35B model in the near future!
Thank you !
I just bought this but I would REALLY like to get an F-35b version!
Customers' response was good, so I decided to make the F-35B.
Thank you~
