GOODesign
GOODesign is a design studio established in Seoul, Korea by a representative who has been active in product design and 3D CG field for 20 years. As a design company that pursues a reasonable and differentiated digital design, it has always presented a new direction through working with clients such as Hyundai Motor, Siemens Korea and beiersdorf. This time, we have put out the life product for 3D printing by utilizing various technique design based on the shape of the Class-A surface. These products are especially the result of deep research on the 3D printing dominant shape that can not be mass-produced using a mold.
This is the SR-71 Black Bird that many of you have been waiting for!
As I was designing this, looking at the materials, there were so many unexpected details.
And since they are so large, some patience is required to print them.
But I did my best to design it to be very easy to make while expressing all the details.
As I said before, I designed it to be as simple as possible, but with a few caveats.
1. The flap's hinges can be loose if printed incorrectly. If the hinge is loose, increase the flow rate, extrusion multiplier, etc. in the slicing program to print so that more material flows out and the gap between the hinge parts is narrowed. The hinge becomes stiff when the gap between the parts is narrowed.
2. Check the direction of the small red parts and attach them to the wings.
3. When attaching wheels to the rear landing gear, it is recommended to attach them with the wheel caps facing out.
4. I've made so many Snap fit connectors, but this plane is so long that it can wobble a bit. In this case, please use adhesive when connecting the body.

Hi, I've just printed the mid section and I struggle with the red lines. I'm not shure, what I'm doing wrong so hope you can help me.
In my case it seems, that the upper edge of the red line on the right side (looking from behind) does not have the correct angle as the wing surface. The result is a not correct matching line in the body with leaving an open space. On the left side it is perfect.
do you have any idea, what is wrong?

Printed with Ender 3 and PRUSA MK3S, sliced at CURA and PrusaSlicer 2.6.1 - parts are compactibile
waw ... it is so huge plane
Fab365_SR-71_Inboard_Elevon.stl file just crashes PrusaSlicer when I try to slice. All other files work just fine. Redownloaded and same issue.
Hi everyone...
I began printing this, front and then starboard engine.
I used 2 different printers, Ender 3 pro and artillery genius.
I cant fully assemble both sections because the folding "link" seems to be longer than the space inside the part. There is a 1/8 inch separation.
Have you corrected that or is something happening to me only???

We have checked the file. Please download again.
Thanks~
Same comment as dotnetwebdev61913. The model is missing the stand cover piece on the bottom. The missing part is circled in red in the image.
We have checked the file. Please download again.
Thanks~
I asked this same question on Patreon and never got an answer... Did they actually add the file to the zip or just claiming it should be there still?
Looked everywhere and in the latest zip..missing the small little cover on the bottom center. Thought it would be in the landing gear folder but it was not. I have 3 covers. I need one more - very small.
We have checked the file. Please download again.
Thanks~
Probably the best model i have printed , unfortunately missing STL for inboard aileron ? Please Help
Please download again.
We fixed that zip file.
Thank you~
Yes, please - what filament is that?
Can’t wait to get this printed out. Hope there is a stand coming for it too.
I hope to!
Got it printed and it looks amazing. Going to hold out on putting the landing gear on with fingers crossed for a stand. I used bambu matte black and bambu red if anyone was curious.
Thats awesome is that burnt titanium filament or another colour
Its bambulab’s matte black.
What filament did you use?
They won't tell you for some reason... They also wont just say "black" "silver" "red" on most the file names either. From some of the pictures it can be hard to tell the actual color they intended, or I end up swapping colors to find out it's an internal part no one will see 😂
If you go to the shop link and look at their filaments, those are the same filaments they use. Mostly esun and paramount. You can use a matte black for this model
